JESUP – Janet Mae Hull, 83 years old of Balch Springs, Texas, died Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her son's home in Balch Springs.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. - Saturday, August 22, 2026, at New Barclay Cemetery, rural Jesup, IA.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2026, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Janet worked in food services for the Mesquite Independent School District. She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite, TX, where she was an active member of the choir and women's club for over 51 years. She was proud to be a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Janet is survived by two sons, Benjamin (Sandy) Hull of Terrell, Texas, and Mark (Maria) Hull of Balch Springs, Texas; five grandchildren, Malissa (Carlos) Mendoza, Jamie (Kody Hansen) Hull, Justin Hull, Amanda Hull, and Josh Hull; ten great-grandchildren, Andre Medoza, Ian Mendoza, Jack Hansen, Jocilyn Delara, Jesse Delara, Anthony Portugal, David Hansen, Aeris Hansen, Zelda Hansen, and Chloe Hansen; one sister, Rosalie Nelson of Jesup; and one brother, Jon (Joan) Brown of Dubuque, Iowa.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois; and a brother, Ronald.
