White Funeral Home RAYMOND - Anita Margaret Russell, 95 years old of Raymond, IA, died Saturday, July 19, 2025, at MercyOne Medical Center, Waterloo, IA. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Raymond, IA. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a vigil service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Friday at the church in Raymond. Anita was born on February 20, 1930, in Waterloo, the daughter of Robert Conrad and Mary (Wittry) Conrad. On August 6, 1949 she was united in marriage to Milo F. Russell at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Raymond. Milo preceded her in death on December 31, 2010. Anita Graduated from East High School in Waterloo with the class of 1948. She worked at Rath Packing Company and then at the John Deere office in Waterloo. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raymond. Anita is survived by three sons, Steven (Pam) Russell of Independence, IA, Michael (Kathy) Russell of Elk Run Heights, IA, Timothy (Jamie) Russell of Reno, NV; one daughter, Julie (Ron) Protsman of Dewar, IA, 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Carol Conrad of Washburn, IA, and Marva Conrad of Des Moines, IA. In addition to her husband, Milo, one great grandson, Johnny Weston Jenkins; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie (Merle) Sachs and Francis (Mike) Holler; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Louie (Theresa) Conrad, Robert (Claries) Conrad, Jim Conrad, Bill Conrad, and Patricia Conrad, preceded her in death. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice. |
