Jesup – Darlene E. Kimball, 87 years old of Jesup, IA, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at her home. 

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. - Friday, July 1, 2016, at Jesup Bible Fellowship, Jesup, IA, with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.  Memorials may be directed to Jesup Bible Fellowship or to the family.

Mrs. Kimball was born June 18, 1929, at Ft. Atkinson, IA, the daughter of Arthur Tupy and Helen (Vsetecka) Tupy.  She graduated from Calmar High School with the class of 1947.  On April 16, 1950, she was united in marriage to Burdette Arthur Kimball at the Quasqueton Union Church in Quasqueton, IA.  They moved to Jesup in December 1950 and became members of the First Baptist Church in Jesup and later became a member at Jesup Bible Fellowship.  Over the years Darlene served in church offices and was a Sunday School teacher for 20 years.  Her husband Burdette, preceded her in death on January 21, 1993.

Mrs. Kimball is survived by one son, Steve (Diane) Kimball of Dunkerton, IA; two daughters, Deborah (Paul) McCollum of Centerville, OH, Rebecca (Terry) McBride of Colorado Springs, CO; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren with two on the way; one brother, Duane Tupy of Lincoln, NE; two sisters, Marvelene (Ray) Tupy-Davis of Traer, IA, Doris Tupy, of Waterloo, IA; and a daughter in law, Babette Kimball of Waterloo, IA.

In addition to her husband Burdette; her parents; one son, Daniel Kimball and one grand daughter, Melissa Kimball, preceded her in death.
