Roger was a very special person. He was a highly respected, kind and helpful friend to my father, step-mother, and to many others. Someone should have nominated him for "Citizen of the Year."

Our hearts are heavy because we will miss Roger. We were classmates and The Bakers are Family to our longtime neighbors, The Fosters. All these years we've waved when we traveled Chatham Street (we'll never call it anything else) and rejoiced when we met elsewhere, because we were still in touch. He's safely home in the arms of Our Lord and Savior, and we trust Him to comfort all who mourn his absence here.

Sorry to hear we lost a good buddy. We enjoyed him stopping by with the grader and telling us about his fishing. He did a great job with the grader. We was very happy with his work. He was a great all around friend. Missed him when he retired. Sorry we missed the visitation. We didn't know until I went on line to check things out this morning. Franklin and Marlene

So sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He could always be counted on for a smile! Roger and I got to be good buddies when I would meet him each morning in his blazer and then trailblzer. I would always get a huge wave and smile or he would pass the house in his grater and lay on the horn! He will truly be missed! Amanda Smith

Sue and I are good friends, and when we were school age, I spent a lot of time at the Baker house. Roger was like a brother to me then. He would tease like a brother, and we felt comfortable in each others company. He was an extremely nice man. Now he, and his father (whom I also knew as a wonderful man) can go fishing together! Rest in Peace Rog....you will be greatly missed!
